STEM Activity

Participated in a community-driven project to support STEM education for underprivileged children. Using a hands-on approach, our goal was to make science concepts accessible and engaging through interactive learning with a STEM kit—specifically, a Wooden Fan Car.

Key Contributions

Instructional Design: Created clear, step-by-step assembly instructions for the fan car to ensure proper operation.

Science Education: Demonstrated key concepts, including energy transformation from potential to electrical, wind, and kinetic energy.

Interactive Learning: Incorporated quizzes (e.g., Kahoot) to test children’s understanding and retain their interest.

Engagement Plan: Developed a structured 1–2-hour activity schedule for interacting with children, emphasizing learning through fun and creativity

Skills Demonstrated

Instructional Design: Created step-by-step teaching resources to support active learning and experimentation.

STEM Curriculum Alignment: Aligned activities with official educational standards for academic relevance.

Collaboration: Worked with team members to develop and refine effective, adaptable project outcomes.

Creativity: Designed quizzes and activities to make learning enjoyable and memorable.

Impact

Contributed to STEM education by fostering curiosity and understanding of scientific concepts among children, empowering them through hands-on experience and interactive learning..
